Tim Basham – Owner
Tim is a native of Smith Mountain Lake, having built his career in real estate sales and development in this community. With over 35 years of experience, he provides excellent service to his clients with integrity and honesty. Tim has won countless real estate awards, including the distinction of being in the Re/Max Hall of Fame, an honor bestowed upon the world’s top half percent of Realtors. After working with Smith Mountain Lake Vacation Rentals for 15 years as a Broker, Tim decided to purchase the company upon the retirement of the previous owner Meg Spurrier. Tim has two daughters, Brooke, and Macy Rose, and enjoys spending a little time on the golf course when time allows.
Josie King
Josie King, Property Manager of our company, is a Virginia-licensed Real Estate Salesperson with 25 + years of management, marketing, and networking experience. Her dedication to outstanding customer service has set her apart from others in the rental industry. Well-known in our community, you may know her from her 16 years with King’s Point Pub and Lake Haven Marina. Josie grew up in this community, graduated from Radford University, and is busy exceeding the expectations of owners and visitors alike. She enjoys live music and hiking with her sons and dog when she gets a little downtime.
