This is a vacation rental that truly celebrates the shores of Smith Mountain Lake! The home has ample water frontage providing spectacular, panoramic views from the lakeside decks, kitchen, living and dining room. The setting of 247 Peninsula Point Drive is superb with the bonus of the wrap around deck and plenty of sitting outdoor areas. Well situated in the resort to have both privacy and proximity to amenities
The kitchen/dining/living/family rooms are all open concept allowing for more family fun and togetherness! Sleeping 8 comfortably in 4 bedrooms means plenty of room for everyone. An additional lower level living room features an air hockey, family games, and direct access to the yard with the dock only steps away.
This home may be the experience where you don't leave at all during your stay but instead grab groceries on your way in and just enjoy complete "down time" hanging out, grilling, taking in sunsets, and gathering for happy hour. Now that's a vacation! If you wish to venture out, there are multiple pools as well as beach access, club house and tennis courts.
This three level Town home has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The loft holds an entire family of it's own with a King bed and full size bath as well as an attached toddler/nursery complete with crib, changing table and twin bed. A kuerig coffee maker, mini fridge for wine and beer and a private rooftop deck complete it. Perfect for a separate family sleeping area. The sleeping areas on the main level include a queen room en suite, and second bedroom with two twin beds.
The lower level den includes bar, extra full size refrigerator for handy snacks while gaming or coming in from the dock.. This level has a King Bedroom with full bathroom. The decks wrap around the entire side of both levels. Lots of comfortable seating.

We had a magical time at Gunners Lookout! The house and outdoor area are just lovely! It is so nice to be in a child friendly environment with our little family members. We had awful weather but it did not take away from our good times! Thank you for all the thoughtful amenities and thank you for your hospitality!

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Our husbands fished the Big Bass Tour and the ladies shopped, drank and relaxed. The townhouse was perfect. It is very spacious, clean and the location was amazing. The views from the townhouse were beautiful!! The men fished during the day while the wives relaxed, shopped and drank. In the evenings we enjoyed the decks while cooking out and having fun. We will definitely rent again!!

Your home was perfect for our family vacation! We enjoyed our stay, rented a boat for a few days, were lazy and ate ALOT! We enjoyed the BEST ice cream from Homestead Creamery. Thank you so much for having us.

Had a great vacation. Three generations got to make memories to last a lifetime. Grandma and Grandpa brought the middle generation here as boys where we learned to water ski and enjoy lake life. Now we get to the share the experience with our children. Thank you for sharing your place.

What a great time we had. All ages had fun things to do. Swimming at the beaches, building sandcastles & boat rides were a hit with the kids. Fishing, the vistas and just plain relaxing were a hit for the adults. This was one of the best family vacations we have had. Thanks and we hope to return soon. "I love, love this vacation" was spoken by a three year old.

In a time where we all feel like the world is a little too much it is nice to get away & forget the chaos for a second. Thank you for providing that getaway. My family & I finally were able to all come together here in Smith Mountain Lake. We ate together & laughed together, played Monopoly together & failed at wake boarding together, all under the roof you provided. My grandmother says "life is good" & that is thanks to you.

We had planned to take our whole family (9 of us!) to Italy in May to celebrate our 50th anniversary so coming to Smith Mountain Lake was a substitute. However, I think we had such fun here that no one mourns not being in Tuscany.

What a great week we had at Smith Mountain Lake! It was our first time here and we will definitely be back. A great change of scenery during COVID quarantine! We had lots of room to spread out, enjoyed cooking dinners, relaxing on the awesome deck, kayaking, boating, floating and playing pickle ball. Looking forward to returning!

Beautiful end unit townhome with ample space and all the conveniences of home. We enjoyed spending hours on the upper deck and lower outdoor area. Breathtaking views. Fabulous pickle ball courts! We will return.
