This three-bedroom home affords a private space to enjoy lake views and has its own private dock with floater. Close to Crystal Shores Marina and Drifter's restaurant for some fun and food. A covered porch provides a spot for relaxing and enjoying the views and is perfect for alfresco dining, morning coffee and evening cocktails as you take in the lazy days of summer or change of leaves in the autumn! This cottage is only a short drive into downtown Moneta and Halesford Bridge area for shopping, dining, boat trips, mini-golf and so much more.
The entrance leads just into the kitchen then on to family room with a flat-screen TV, large gas fireplace and comfortable furnishings. Large deck with outdoor dining area, gas grill and adirondack chairs to relax in. The boat dock is private at the back of a cove with boat ramp right in the community less that a mile from the home. This home has the Master bedroom on the main level with King bed en suite. Two more bedrooms upstairs with a shared bath on that level as well. One room with a Queen bed the other with both a Queen and Double. The lower level has a den with large flat screen TV and third bath. The well secured fenced in back yard, perfect for your pet.
Relax and feel renewed energy while sampling all the lake has to offer. With that new energy, head down to your dock to dangle your feet in the water, swim, drop a line in the water or just enjoy some time to sunbathe.

We really enjoyed our visit to Cozy Cove this past week. I really enjoyed the quiet, small cove. It was nice for young grandchildren in not being too deep (areas where they could actually touch bottom), yet also deep enough to use our boat, kids jet skis, feel safe on my birthday gift-inflatable paddleboard! House was comfortable, well maintained, nice fenced area for dogs, & we really enjoyed deck & overhang in both peaceful rain & watching intense storms approach. Good location for easy road access, proximity to Food Lion, kids-putt-putt at Bridgewater. Steeper part of walk up to house from dock is well-served by heavy rope handrail. (Were probably going to consider return next summer as well-have been looking for a regular site!) Service from SML Rentals also very good-friendly, responsive, welcoming, professional...& even called us early to say house available sooner than check-in time. Thanks lots!

Nice family getaway. At the end of a no wake cove so it was like we had our own private swimming hole off the dock. Easy access to the main lake with my boat. Well be back!

Thank you so much for sharing your lake home with us. Our family had such an amazing time here! We swam, fished, kayaked, canoed and napped here. We wake boarded and met/fed Alpacas for the first time as we ventured out of the cove. Accommodations were perfect. This place is a perfect fit for our family. We look forward to returning regularly. Cozy Cove is a lovely beautifully decorated home and was ideal for our long awaited reunion with our son and his fiancee. Their yellow lab really enjoyed swimming in the lake while they kayaked and paddle boarded. The dock is a great location for fishing and the deck is a restful spot for reading. The location is convenient for groceries and other stores. We look forward to a return next year!

This is a great house! The main floor is fantastic and we loved sitting on the deck in the evenings. It had everything we needed for a weekend at the lake, Super close to everything.

I was very lucky to be able to book a week at the Cozy Cove. I had been searching for several weeks for a rental and Cozy Cove popped up on my screen. It was perfect! On a Cove for my kayaking son, his paddle boarding fiancee, his water loving Lab and my fishing lover wife. The house is great! I love the parquet floors. A perfect house for six adults. Well maintained and very comfortable.
I had not seen my son for almost two years. He lives in upstate New York and I live in Bluffton SC. Smith Mountain Lake is in the middle. Same driving distance for each of us. What a perfect place to meet! A great reunion!
I lived on a lake for 25 years and my son learned all watersports there. Cozy Cove is a great lakehouse. What a wonderful post covid reunion we had!
We will return next year. Already have our reservation!
