Welcome to the Turning Tides- This luxury home has plenty to offer your family for lake-life fun. A large private dock, water toys, a canoe, a firepit, a covered patio area, and plenty of outdoor seating to absorb the peaceful cove.
The open floor plan of Turning Tides makes it a whole house haven of activity! The main floor welcomes you to a light lake-themed oasis. Serene and well-appointed. The house is ready for serious R & R. When you enter the home enjoy two-plus levels of living space in addition to a large loft area—greeted by a living room that overlooks the upper-level patio just off a bright kitchen with all the cooking implements you need to make dinner for the crew. The alcove nestled alongside is a coffee station complete with a drip pot, espresso maker, and Keurig to get your morning routine off to a caffeinated jumpstart, or a wine chiller if that is more your vacation need. The dining room table and island bar seating areas are perfect for mealtime, game night, or watching the lake activities. Off the upper-level dining and living areas are both open and screened-in porches. The master King bedroom ensuite with a sumptuous bathroom, oversized shower, double vanities, and a walk-in closet for optimal privacy and relaxation resides on the main level.
The loft area is a fine fit for the young ones. They have a dedicated space with games, books, a sleeping area, and a tub/shower combo bathroom.

Our family spent Labor Day weekend at this beautiful property and couldnt have had a more excellent stay. The house has everything you could want with plenty of space, a nice location on a quiet cove of Smith Mountain Lake near the state park, TWO well-stocked kitchens, and more ways to relax than you could imagine. With outdoor seating areas (including the deck, patio, fire pit, and dock) and toys like kayaks, and the canoe, multiple TVs, foosball, and two large tables for family game nights, theres plenty to entertain everyone and ensure a great family getaway. The house was immaculate; the beds were comfy, and lets face it -- a home with an elevator is just cool. The coffee area! But then you arrive and, on your first morning, you realize that what youve needed in your life is to wake up to a room dedicated solely to a fully outfitted coffee, latte, espresso, cappuccino bar, and your biggest dilemma dilemmas are which brew and comfortable seat youll choose for your first cup. The pictures of this home are amazing, but its even better in person! We have stayed in many homes around the lake, this was the best! We had our adult children, 90 year old Grammie along with family and friends that dropped by over our two-week stay. There was room for everyone to be together or find a quiet spot to get some work done. (Wifi worked great too) The accessibility in and around the house made our stay much more enjoyable. The elevator and ramps made it easy to move around in a wheelchair, so Grammie could fully participate in the fun! Every amenity was considered, from the kitchen to the dock and everything in between.
