Wagon Wheels

I have stayed at Wagon Wheels 15 times since 1999. The location will always be me & my Late Dogs Paradise Spot! Valley Mill Road is a nice serene walk. Beautiful scenic waterfront & looking from the floor-to-ceiling windows on the back end of the house, it appears as if the lake water comes right up below the back deck. Breakfast on the deck & the view - PRICELESS. Another nice thing is there is a sizable buffer between the houses to left & the right, so the Wagon Wheels lakefront area is private. The sandy beach has a VERY GRADUAL walk-in/slope to the lake, excellent for dogs & people to enter the lake. AND, the white sand beach has been refreshed, nice & new this year! The dock has an upper level that gives great views of the cove & Craddock Creek waters. Nice wide section on the main dock for fishing, sitting out, picnic, etc. There are flood lights on the dock and electric outlet which is nice for nighttime dock activities.

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend at Wagon wheels. It was the perfect little getaway. We were looking for a small cabin that had a great dock for us to park our boat at for the weekend and enjoy swimming and fishing. The water access at wagon wheels did not disappoint!! Although small, the cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a three night getaway. Other than that our stay was great and we would stay again!

Beautiful lake view. Unfortunately, the rain/clouds did not cooperate to see the beautiful sunset when we tried to catch it. The cabin is lovely and spotless. We had everything we needed. The only recommendation is to put in ceiling fans or have some floor fans available. We saw all kinds of wildlife during our stay. We loved fishing off the dock too! Great property. I would love to own it. Save my contact information and contact me if you decide to sell it!!

Wagon wheels was so peaceful and relaxing. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. Very quiet but was also not a far hop from shopping centers. Perfect place for a great family vacation. Will definitely rent again.

We had a great time at Smith Mountain Lake and the rental office did very well with answering and responding back to any of our questions. The cabin was very nice and we were surprised by having electric down at the boat dock. The deck and dock were very nice we enjoyed sitting out there having a good time. July 2020

I had a wonderful time!!! It was just what I wanted and needed, just wish I could have stayed longer! I will definitely recommend you guys to anyone i hear looking for a nice relaxing place to go for vacation! We will definitely be back!!!

The cove has the feeling of being on wide open water, doesnt have heavy boat traffic, nice for relaxing & being on a kayak! Close to golf, SML State Park, a convenience store 3 miles away & Food Lion is an easy 10 mile drive.

I have so many special memories at Wagon Wheels, perfect location near state park and golf course, and it has the perfect waterfront layout on the cove w privacy from others.
