The dock also has a covered boat slip, electricity, cleats to tie your boat and a floater with swim ladder.
For dinner, grill on the lakeside deck and relax a while or enjoy the main level living area with roomy kitchen, dining area and living area, then retreat to the roomy lower level rec room for a game of foosball or cards - or just relax and watch a movie on one of the large flat screen televisions.
For bedtime this home offers on the main level a Master Bedroom with King Bed, Second Bedroom with Queen Bed and two full baths. On the lower level there is a Third Bedroom with two Queen Beds, Fourth Bedroom with 2 Twin Beds, a Fifth Bedroom with 1 King bed and one full bath. Loved the sun room for playing cards while other family members utilized the living room TV. We were there for Thanksgiving so having the second refrigerator in the sun room for drinks was very useful.

A Quiet Sunset is aptly named for this accommodating house! We enjoyed beautiful views off the back deck and dock every night! The house is spacious and comfy, including the mattresses. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as utensils and included a crock pot as well. We would definitely stay here again😊

We enjoyed our stay in this property, theres enough gathering space for a big group in and out of the house.
The dock is so spacious. Smith Mountain Lake Vacation Rentals is very efficient, timely coordination and very quick to respond to our questions. I am so glad that I was able to touch base with them directly so I could talk to them via email or phone.

Thank you so much for a wonderful Labor Day weekend! We skied, wake boarded, kayaked, played games, made smores & laughed a lot. We are very grateful for the provision of a beautiful house in a quiet cove that would fit our growing family.

Once again we totally enjoyed our stay at A Quiet Sunset. We will be back again next year for two weeks this time. The house is perfect for our family. The dock is large and we spend most of our days either there or in the water floating around or swimming, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, boating, and fishing. The lake is so clean and warm in August. Nearby is Mitchells Point Marina where we rent our pontoon boat which is a great family run business.

I want to start by saying THANK YOU for another great stay at A Quiet Sunset this past July. This our 2nd year staying at this house and once again it did not disappoint. We loved every minute of it and made some fantastic memories with friends. This years lake vacation was even more appreciated and a welcomed change of scenery for all of us given all that has been going on with the pandemic and getting teleworking cabin fever. Truly, we cannot thank you enough for making it happen for us!

We have rented A Quiet Sunset for a week the past 4 years and just booked it again for next year. Its perfect for our family and love the fact that a wonderful Marina is nearby. We rent our pontoon boat from Mitchells Marina along with a paddle board. We spend almost the entire day on the covered dock, swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, reading and eating on the picnic table. The house is located on a lovely cove. If there were any concerns with the house, the rental agents would make sure everything is taken care of. We now use rental linens and towels to make it easier.

We recently stayed at this house on SML and loved everything about it! The large kitchen, spacious bedrooms, and huge deck was more than enough to accommodate our group. The dock was our favorite part of the house amenities! Shaded and sunny with enough space to dock our pontoon and jet skis, which we rented while enjoying SML. Thank you for all your friendly assistance in helping us plan such a fun vacation!!
